Ice Age Floods Hike

Here are some pictures from a hike I took with The Friends of the Columbia Gorge where we learned about the Missoula floods or also known as the Ice Age Floods.














The early wildflowers!! All purple except for the occasional albino ones.




The next three pics are of a pond we saw along our hike. I learned that this pond was created by an under water hurricane type phenomenon during the floods.
